Growing, Loving, Giving

Home

We are a growing community of Jesus followers on the south side of Aberdeen.  We are a Church of Scotland, but perhaps not as you have known it!  We meet together at 10.30am on a Sunday morning at Loirston Primary school, Loirston Avenue in a relaxed ‘cafe style’.  We seek to be open, engaging, seeking God and expecting Him to be at work among us.

We want to experience and hold out the life that Jesus came to give us.

Relationships we believe are the most important things in life – our relationship with God, and ALL our human relationships.  We want to invite others into a relationship with Jesus, so that they would know the healing and the forgiveness that he gives.

We want to break out into our community, meeting to worship in homes (Home Church), taking prayer to the streets, working in partnership with our local primary schools to see the next generation come to know Jesus, supporting Street Pastors and the Blue Horizon Youth and Family project.  We run programmes like mainly music (for Mum’s and pre-schoolers), the ALPHA course and the Marriage preparation course.  We believe every part of life is important and is a gift of God: church fellowship, family life, school, leisure time and the work place (our minister is the chaplain to Grampian Police).  We would love to do more to serve our community and advance the vision we believe God has given us – and we need more like-minded people, called by God, who would to join us on this exciting journey of faith!
